I read the article, but, didn't see any compelling leverage explained in the strategy. I agree that acquisitions will always result in "goodwill" assets on the books. My point was that the shareholder equity is almost completely composed of such nebulous assets. As you probably know, this kind of asset is generally written off in a couple of years. The result in this case will be a stock selling at a very high multiple vs book.
