It appears your using a Scanner that connects to your printer port. You have to go into your computer setup, usually when it boots up there should be a key you press that would take you into the BIOS settings. On my DELL's I press the DEL key, on my Compaq Notebooks, I press the F10. The computer when booting may tell you what to press to enter setup, or refer to your manual. Once in set up and select that parallel port mode.
