I still like the idea of voting at the same time you file your taxes. Instead of just having the "presidential election fund" checkoff, maybe Form 1040 could be extended to checkoff the actual choice of candidates. Also, it could be moved from the top of the form to the bottom (right next to the box showing how much taxes you owe).
