Jan, what a crock!

Fifteen out of 18 stocks went up, based upon PnF entry points?

I flat didn't believe it.

So I went to the PnF charts in your portfolio and looked up every stock you posted. I started with the letter "A" [since all were bought between Oct 4 and Oct 15] and looked to see where would have been the first legitimate place to buy each one. I'll have to admit, I was impressed with the entry points chosen. The gains and losses were correctly posted.

My question is this: to what extent were the portfolio results typical of PnF buying vs. the fact that the stock market in general went basically straight up since Oct 8 - the approximate time frame of the entry points in your portfolio? In other words, were your portfolio gains due to PnF, or would the gains have happened anyway in a rising market, PnF or no PnF?

BTW, I used the charts at the Dorsey web site while on day 13 of a 2-week trial membership.

Thanks,

Ice
