Hi Ice,

You crack me up! Liked the intro sentence :-)

I timed the entry because the NYSE BP had gone Bull Confirmed and most of the stocks had pulled back to areas of support. Did you see the Value Line Portfolio? Even better.

To answer your question. Because of PnF I was able to correctly determine the time of entry into the stocks. Not just the trend chart but also the market position at that time. The NYSE BP had been in Bull Alert and I was watching the Dow chart noticing that major support wasn't being broken. Because of this, I didn't support the theory that there would be a Dow 6600. When I was confident the market would rally, I started looking around for RS positive stocks, good fundamentals yadda yadda. I entered as you saw when the gettin' was good. I knew the market was ready to pop and I knew the stocks I selected had a good chance moving with the market or better. So, the answer is yes to both. They were selected by PnF and they moved cause the market moved. Would they have gained not using PnF? If you chose the right ones yes. I chose the right ones because of PnF.

As a control, I monitored stocks that had an RS negative to see how they performed. They did not move as well with the market and in fact that selection is in negative percentage. So, picking correctly with PnF certainly worked well here.

I hope that answered things for you.

Take care,

Jan I am
