Ahh yes! Very interesting article. Especially the part about selling off the assets and technology to a "white knight".

Sources close to the company said financial consultants and bankers were negotiating ferociously Thursday and Friday with the possibility of a white knight stepping in to purchase SyQuest's assets and technology.

"The only hypothesis why SyQuest has delayed going into Chapter 11 is
maybe they are in negotiations to sell," Porter said.

But sources close to SyQuest said filing for Chapter 11 would be the best course of action right now, and they expect the company to file even if a white knight does appear.

What will tomorrow bring?
