I don't have a clear understanding of just how COST offers the shares it buys back to its members in the form of options. I suppose that tact eliminates dilution of shares but COST pays full bore for the shares it gives to its people?

If that is the case, they eliminate dilution, and that is the reason they are doing it that way.... then does it follow that they are no where near ready to split or is it that they are just about to announce a split i.e., all the more reason to avoid further dilution of shares?
