In the Disk Drive Sector it appears that the TA people and their arguments drowned out the FA people. It is difficult for the company/industry analysts to differ from the rest of the crowd. In this case I believe that the FA chartists looked at their analysis and the FA people were overruled/ignored or did not see the handwriting on the wall in regards to the HDD sector.

I do remember Cramer of TheStreet.com making many arguments of oversupply, however, for every negative comment that he made it seemed the Wall Street Firms would have a positive comment. this is of course, my opinion of events and may be wrong.

Yes a lot of people were terribly wrong about the HDD sector. The garbage from the Wall Street Firms were one of the reasons I have been an avid reader of this thread and trying my best to learn from more technologically knowledgeable people such as yourself and others.
