The company is clearly up for sale... or at least part of it. This is how its done. Hopefully, that will result in a higher value for its shareholders than current management can deliver. The LAN products division has been a low margin dog and a drag on the company's market valuation for years. The formation of OpenROUTE Networks, Inc. enables a potential suitor to buy the healthy part of the company without taking the LAN products division with it. Mark my words, OpenROUTE Networks, Inc. will be acquired within the next 6 months.
