J; Thanks for sharing your personal experience; I always place high value on first-hand information. For clarification, my comments about marketing in the biotech industry had more to do with marketing aspects such as product positioning and channels of distribution than salesmanship. Of course, biotechs must and do have the marketing function served one way or another; its just that they do it poorly as a group (I think we agree on that). On a similar topic: did you see the article in todays WSJ's legal beat? It is about how even great CEO's like Bill Gates often do poorly it testifying for their company. Am I alone in seeing a parallel here? A CEO great at one thing (marketing) and getting an F on something else (impressing a judge or jury). David
