RE:DRAM bits grow every year. But, capacity is growing, too.

Of course capacity grows, the rate at which it grows is of extreme importance. Korea went from $5B to $1B in semiconductor cap. ex. in one year. MOT, TXN, and Siemens could not compete and threw in the towel. Japanese semiconductor execs. say they don't have the stomach for DRAM. The trend is obvious.

Large volume producers like Micron and Samsung are best positioned to capitalize on future upturns. The jury is still out on whether we are experiencing a serious and real upturn. If we are, MU could trade much higher from here. I think it's scary too.
