MARKET and some DD: Many good things came from today.
Woo hoo, last day of child birth classes. Hip hip hooray and three cheers for me.
Tomorrow shaping up to be a good day, expect a little sideways movement at first and then up from there. Just too much market confidence right now. The old timers are holding and looking for more entry points, the youngsters are holding and waited out the mini-crash. Everyone in between that pulled out their money are quickly putting it back in. I cannot remember a time when I can honestly say that the market seems more confident that it is now. Even with the world turmoil, money is still looking for a home.
Secondary issues will continue to do well. I still believe this is the time for many of those position trades you may be thinking about. As long as the issue hasn't run, I believe a strong day tomorrow will make for some nice movement. But then again, I was expecting broad based buy programs to lift the market today. The techs participated towards closing which should make for some decent gaps.
CIEN seems especially strong right now, and they have been too quiet of late. Would not be surprised to here the low rumblings of the rumor mill cranking up again ..... these things run in cycles.
ABTX - Sideways movement but still relatively strong, tomorrow may be the key. I bought prematurely but was comfortable with the price.
TAVA - Looks solid, considering 5000 shares here.....but I am still playing it low key right now, will watch closely.
DELL - Good trade opportunity. Earnings out I believe Thursday.
CCI - I like them here in an up market, if the market turns on a dime, pick them up for a quick 1-2.
NMSS - A TokyoJoe pick. Looks pretty solid on further DD. News forthcoming that could move this dog.
RSYS - I still like this company. Could use a brief pull back but take a look at it. Market still hates it but the tide is turning.
DLGC - Not sexy at all but a great trader. I just put this back on my own list to watch and dabble in. They are very good at what they do. Compelling valuation here. Low float. $20 key support and heading higher it would appear. Would like to buy any dips, but I don't think it is going to fall much more.
SQNT - TokyoJoe pick. I am not convinced, appears to be dead money that could be used elsewhere. Could go either way but it isn't going to run too fast IMO.
CYCH - For any of you holding this. I am sorry. I so want digital cash but they took a major hit when two money center banks terminated their digital money trials. Potential short here, but I wouldn't yet. I would however, sell the dog.....and it hurts me to say it.
GYMB - Many laughed when I mentioned them at 4. Women swear by them, they have no equal. Hard times.....yes, great company ..... yes, a future ..... OH yes. Buy on pullbacks .... yes. Not a fast mover however.
ATHM - Showing all the signs of a stock that is about ready to lift off....I am considering dumping every penny in it.
Well, I have more but I will keep you waiting. I want to know if any of you play these picks and how you do. I am expecting exciting things from many of these.
