Paul, <The fact that the Internet bandwidth is comparatively slow - vis-a-vis Intel's CPU speeds is often tossed out as a reason that FAST CPUs are not useful, nor required.> Amazing isn't it <ggg>? I guess this guy would argue that if the internet were even slower then all we would need is 386's or 486's. I think some people forget that the demand/need/use for PC's was around long before the internet became an integral part of the technology revolution. Also, like most who like to repeat this simple minded thinking, he totally ignores what drives this ever growing global network of PC's. It sure ain't a bunch of segment 0 boxes <ggg>. It's like these guys don't understand that their is an infrastructure behind the internet. To them it's just magic.....a bunch of cheap PC's connected by phone lines. Speaking of ridiculous. Where's our buddy Tommy K?? Can't believe he is going to let a 52 week high go buy without making more negative comments. Perhaps he is waiting for an all time high <ggg>. His silence has been deafening. FF
