Thanks for your reply. I can't give recommendations, but you raise an interesting point.

If we knew Yahoo were to sell for $337.50 five years from now, would it be worth buying today? And I guess the answer is, if you're a long-term investor (buy and hold) and can do better than a 15% annualized return per year, then Yahoo isn't an attractive investment at this time.

$164.75 * 1.15 * 1.15 * 1.15 * 1.15 * 1.15 = $331.37 (close to $337.50)

I imagine short-term traders don't care about the long term analysis stuff, but thought it would be an interesting change of pace to think about a 5 year time horizon.
