> Looks like competition for both of Sgi's OSes. Looks like complementary to me. Linux doesn't have IRIX's features, but is pretty much capable on lower-end platforms. It also has quite a different focus than NT (less GUI, less monolithical applications, and not very-well standardized, but smaller, leaner, and architecturally stronger -- much better for servers, though of course, IRIX is not bad at that either ;) ).
