Gersh,

Im still holding to my trading range trend, just not sure where the range is yet. If the DOW gets above 9400 or below 7400, it would make me change my position of a trading range.

As time goes on the effect of further rate cuts(if they happen) will diminish if earnings do not show improvements.

I feel that this downswing which started yesterday should only last 2-3 days, which should end today or tomorrow, then one last quick upswing into the FOMC meeting next Tue.

If you have a chance, take a look at the weekly charts of FRANCE, GERMANY, and BRITAIN. Their charts are not similar to the U.S. since they are still in downtrend mode, showing LOWER LOWS and LOWER HIGHS.
Another technical issue that is makes them different than the U.S. market is that they did not form a DOUBLE BOTTOM. It appears they are still in bear market mode, and just having a bear market rally. Can the U.S. still continue up strong with the major overseas market still in a bear market?
