From Wildstar's post, I assumed he already had the IP address and was looking for a domain location (something.something.com). If you have the domain location, you can us it instead of the IP address with the 'tracert' command. As the route is being traced, each jump is identified with the IP address and sometimes domain location names also.

For example "tracert www.microsoft.com" will trace the route from your starting point to Microsoft. The display begins like this:

Tracing route to www.microsoft.com [207.46.130.15]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 1 ms 1 ms 1 ms 161.181.85.1

This shows you the IP address associated with the location name (www.microsoft.com). In my case, I am behind a firewall, so this command goes no further.

It that way, you can usually see both, if you have one to start with. There are also free utilities (Whois, etc.) available on the Internet (such places as Windows95.com, etc.) which can also provide information.
