Although I agree with you about Aber's prospects, your following quote gave me some pause:

"People with this kind of money do their homework before
making such a serious commitment."

I started thinking about that and have quickly come up with the following examples of people doing their homework and making serious money commitments:

1. The Edsel
2. The New Coke
3. Warren Buffett's investment in US Air
4. Long Term Capital hedge fund
5. Just about any large financing subscribed to in the past year and a half in mining stocks

I'm just scratching the surface, but the point is, "smart money" and people who do their homework screw up just like the rest of us.
