It is a sticky situation isn't it. You need the channel to sell PCs in markets without a solid internet. Once the Internet becomes established, what do you do? Do you dump the channel and go Internet? Do you retain the channel and ignore the Internet? Do you do both the channel and Internet?

I think doing both and letting the customer decide is the smart move. Maybe that is what CPQ is doing.
