Keep in mind that the new MSM3000 is advertise to cut power consumption significantly so new model phone coming out of the Q next year will have much higher talk and standby time. Keep in mind the subscriber division get the first cut of the latest and newest chips coming out of the asic division hence their phone will have an edge over competition I hope.
