To all: There may have also been some concern that Intel's MMX release might cut into CREAF's sound card sales(and, consequently, the WaveMeter's numbers as well). If you go to the CREAF thread and read reply #451, you'll see why this will not happen, at least not with the first-generation of MMX. Low-end system buyers may be able to get out the door without a sound card, but full-throttle game station jockeys will require both MMX and Sound Blasters to get their need-for-speed, dash and flash fix fulfilled to the max. It's going to be one melodious and scenic ride to the WAVX promised land. We may be getting close to the last chance to cost-average down, for those who haven't done it already. Think it over. GO WAVX !!!
