Muchas gracias for the help, compadre. I'm using the latest version of FOX+ (1.5.2) on a PII 233MHz 64 MB machine, in a Win 98 environment. Like you, I periodically go through and manually delete the "garbage files" that Fidelity's programmers didn't see fit to delete automatically.

Even so, if you let FOX+ run for more than, say, 20 minutes, it slows down to a virtual stop. Their techies say that the only solution is to log off and log on again, but my experience is that it requires actually shutting down the program and restarting it.

But, compared to my current fuss, the molassas speed of FOX+ is a minor irratation. I'm REALLY unhappy about their lackadasical attitude with an offline marketmaker.
