Paul, OT:OT AT&T's Worldnet.att.net did the same as your ISP. AT&T did this about 6 months ago and members really raised a storm, many quit, one even began a web page to collect info from users to mount a class action suit. AT&T's problem is the way they advertise "unlimited" but actually limit users. AT&T is better than yours. I get up to 150 hours per month. But, AT&T provides relatively poor service, many busy signals, disconnects, and limited 56k service to only some locations. They complain that local tel co infrastructures are the problem. So why do my local buddies using AOL get connect rates in the high 40k and low 50K with no busy signals -- using the copper loops I have.
