For anyone who might be worried about Iomega selling OEM Zip drives at a loss, here are a few relevant numbers.

Disk unit sales required to offset OEM drive loss = 1 *

Disk unit sales per drive unit on average (tie ratio) = 6 **

Profitable disk unit sales per OEM drive unit sale = 5 ***

Any questions? Anybody worried?
