CVC, The first thing I am doing is waiting for the chance to vote AGAINST this deal.
While we have all this time on our hands...it's easy to get frustrated with the information that pours in on this joke of a deal.
You don't need to pledge me your shares, just vote the way that makes the most sense for yourself.
Their are going to be lawsuits with or without my editorials on Shiva and their decision to sell-out at 6 bucks.
The lawsuits will either force Intel to sweeten the bid or will yield nothing more than 6 bucks.
Fighting Intel even though the suits would probably be against Shiva, can't be easy. Intel can make it easy and preemptively raise the bid, keeping the lawyers out of it.
Either way, I welcome a contrary view from anyone out there who wants to defend a 6 dollar deal when VPN revenues have only just started to roll in.
THAT's what we were waiting for .... VPN and 1999 positive earnings...wasn't THAT THE PLAN ??
We weren't waiting for a 6 dollar end-run around the shareholders.
But wouldn't you know it...The 6 buck deal includes re-pricing for the management heading on over to Intel...What a Terrible joke on us.
Companies that due 150 to 200 mm in revenue DON'T sell out for 181 mm. Correct me if I am wrong, Please !!
