Michael, I have been reading Gary's posts for about 18 months. He has always been a good contributor and an asset to any thread he posts on. He does look at the networkers through Cisco colored glasses. WHY NOT? If I had bought CSCO a few years ago instead of buying the next company that was going to knock them off, I would be wearing those glasses,too. BR put his finger on CSCO's success, SALES. Can anyone say that 10 years ago MSFT had a superior technology to AAPL. I don't think so. But MSFT outsold AAPL quarter after quarter, year after year, until they owned 90% of the market. CSCO has done the same thing. Every quarter they increase sales and profit. And the price of the stock goes up more. Meanwhile I was buying COMS, NN, CS, Cascade, and now own ASND. And CSCO keeps going up. I agree ASND has superior products in leading edge technology. But, they won't lay a glove on CSCO. I have never owned CSCO, I just keep buying superior tech companies with management that keeps shooting it self in the foot every quarter or so. Jim
