Oh, you were discussing that telecom thingie: Hmmm Xmsn rate of 200 GBits was considered a "modest" effort....while the Saintly One sits here thinking a V.90 modem that can connect (occasionally) at 48 Kbits?...and dreaming of a private "2B+D" ISDN line that might jack up the rate for combined Basic channels to 128 Kbits (screaming!)... Of course, there are those priviledged to enjoy CABLE modems! at REAL transmission rates....like MBits (know anybody like that?... but could you imagine having a hookup to the pad at a "modest" 200 GBits?...with potential up to 10 TeraBits????!!...How do you find this stuff, E! -- and don't you realize how it causes some old geezers dream when you turn up these gems??... but THANKS!!
And, as I mentioned to Wolf....with this P-II replacing the old 486, I might even have time to do some writing, and less time patching :-)
Are you gunning the small caps at this juncture, E! I've been loading up on everything from Fremont U.S. Microcap to TransAmerica Premier Small Cap (along with a few of my old "swinging" Van Wagoner funds) and they have all been really moving.....Now, it isn't unusual for TSO to have equities that are "Moving"...but these are UP!! :-)
Tell me more about the golf progress!...I've just been out testing my new driver (the Taylor Made, Titanium, TI Bubble 2, Tour Model, 8.5 degree...etc, etc).. The first attempt at the driving range was 30 yards beyond the usual...so I'll have to invent new excuses for my lousy game :-).... Hope you enjoy your foray into the "Pleasant Addiction"...
