Smart, that is my belief too, from my experience. Been there, done that. The 'net will never attract more than a small fraction of the dollars that real stores get. Reason is simple: "Shopping" is a pastime, an experience, a pleasurable thing to do in the real world. You get the experience of getting out of the house, co-mingling with humanity, seeing the merchandize up close and personal; plus you get to take home your purchase. That's the way it's always been since people have been buying and selling, and YHOO or AMZN ain't going to change things in a radical way. 'net shopping is boring, and so will be used to buy only certain things.
