I'm sure you understand I'm from the market is too high side of things (like double what it should be). I have been asking bears if they have learned anything this cycle. I think there may have been some underestimation of the strength of the bulls' marketing efforts. A tip of the hat to the wrong, but successful dark side.

I feel like you have so much experience that perhaps nothing is new to you. But, this mania, to me is almost without precedent (in U.S. stocks) in our lifetimes. The only possible exception was the first nifty fifty bubble. You weren't investing in stocks in 1929 were you <g>?

Anyway, did you learn anything new this time? To be more patient before setting the puts? Or anything else? tia
