The coup of the visit, however, and proof of the Government's unrelenting commitment to
housing in Belize, was the securing of $100 million, which will shortly be made available for
a housing project in Belize. This funding takes us one step closer to the Manifesto pledge of
10,000 homes, and makes even this figure seem conservative under the constant progress
and forward movement of the new Government.
