This number not only represents Acer's all-time high, but also marks the highest output among listed notebook computer makers.

The company's notebook computer output, however, surpassed 90,000 units and set a new record.
Compal Electronic Inc.'s October notebook computer output is estimated at 90,000 units, increasing nearly 20,000 units from the previous month.

Twinhead International Corp. sold a record-setting 43,000 notebook computers in October.
The company's monthly operating revenues did not hit new records, however, because of sliding product prices.
Company executives demand in November and December to continue booming.
Clevo Co. also broke its own output records by selling about 35,000 units last month.
The company took in more than NT$1 billion in operating revenues that month.
As most of its orders came from distribution channels, Clevo remained the biggest winner in the computer marketing channels in October.
The company's original equipment manufacturing operations are expected to rise in the future, because it began business with Japan's Hitachi Ltd. in November.
