Karl, This MEP announcement is exciting indeed. Thanks for your information.

Concerning the "charge per hit" users will pay. From my understanding the MEP agreement is equivalent to a Master Consulting Agreement with TAVA. MEP, the Non profit organization, has about 400 offices where these small business are able to checkout the CD and run it and access the TAVA data base. So lets say a 300 person shop checks out the CD through MEP. They run the CD and access the TAVA Data Base at a predetermined rate per/hit. ( I am not sure, and anticipate your field agents response, but the "per hit rate" could be approximately in the $100 range/hit.) That hit will be a one "hit" charge per each "unique item."
Lets say for the sake of example the company has 10 Allen-Bradley GS 5's. They will be charged only for 1 hit per that one "unique item." So if this said shop has 50 "unique items" that would be $5000.00 from this ONE 300 person shop.
TAVA's DATA BASE, being that it is already paid for, gives TAVA a nice source of income from these sort of companies which they would never possibly be able to access in reality. And MEP being a non profit organization not looking to do more than cover nominal cost if any. (The "McTAVA" effect you have mentioned in the past.) The DATA Base is just sitting there with all of that vital information on items like the Allen-Bradley GS 5's and the Rockwell XY1's.. etc. This is one of the most exciting things TAVA has been involved in. This shows the unique way TAVA is using their expertise to benefit not only TAVA but also allow Small Business the ability to access this highly useful information on a mass basis who would otherwise possibly be lost in the cracks.
