Charles, outlawing large contributions not only won't happen, it wouldn't work, and we have a lot of experience to see just how it would leak. I still think we see the tip of the iceberg on what is reported, particularly in the game of quid-pro-quo on everything from jobs (i.e., Web Hubbell) to positions after one leaves office or for friends and business buddies. Outlawing contributions will just drive it further into the world of the covert. Mr. K.
