ComSolut or anyone: Take a look at this news. Would SSGI have any sofware products that they could sell to help this? I heard some time ago that SSGI may be getting some contracts from Ford, has any others heard of this? EPA looks at Ford's computers State and federal environmental regulators are investigating whether computers on millions of vehicles sold by Ford Motor are failing to alert drivers that their cars and trucks are exceeding allowed pollution levels. The probe by the Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Resources Board involves computers on vehicles manufactured since 1995. The computers are supposed to detect pollution problems, then illuminate "check engine" lights to indicate that the car should be taken in for service. Ford is talking with state and federal officials and has improved the systems in 1999 models, spokesman Terry Bresnihan says.
