Hey Stephen, do you remember applying for your first credit card? How about after a divorce? Stephen have you or anyone else who reads this thread ever tried to get a card when you had no credit record of your own? Columbia Capital tends to gravitate to higher risk situations. There is no crime in that and certainly no scam involved. The fact is it's the sponsoring bank that issues the cards, not CLCK. It's true BestBank probably issued a bunch of these cards. Those cards had a very small actual credit limit that would have to be gone by now for those individuals who would not have paid their debt. So Stephen while you make some good points you are simply making them too late and to the wrong people to save us from investing in CLCK.

Lets face facts. As far as we are concerned the travel club was a horrible idea. However the credit cards themselves have to be at this point considered legitimate. Why would I say that? Because there was so little actual credit on those cards that if FICI was processing cards for people who are not credit worthy then last quarters numbers would have shown a loss in revenues, not a gain.

Come on Stephen. CLCK has been processing cards for the FDIC since July. If there was a problem the FDIC would have named CLCK in the civil suit. If there was a problem with the card portfolio the revenues would have decreased instead of increased. Do we really care if the credit card owner's are high risk?

Not as long as they pay their bill.

Lets face facts, we all have been a credit risk at one point or another in our lifes. I for one am glad that companies like Columbia Capital are available to process cards for individuals struggling to establish some credit worthiness. They may not be the bank that issues the card but they do provide a necessary service.

Regards, Jeff
