This remark is totally out of line. Jules offered an opinion of his own - frankly a good one, since Cyrix and AMD aren't making much money (shall I say losing money) making "ORIGINAL copies" of Intel chips.

As you know, Cyrix is indeed attempting this precise same strategy with their 5GX86 chip. In reality, Jules is expressing his opinion which must have also been the identical opinion of Cyrix's own management.

As for your slashing criticism of Jules level of knowledge, his perception of the entire technology industry seems to be among the best (perhaps THE BEST) as demonstrated by his contributions to this and other SI forums.
