I subscribe to EdgarOnline, which includes an e-mail alert service on all 144's for the stocks that I follow.

Their service is consistently days, sometimes weeks ahead of the Yahoo updates, and as far as I know the most timely database reporting for 144's (if anyone knows of a better service, let me know). The price structure is monthly fee for access to most reports, but to see the detail behind the 144's (i.e. the who and how many shares), it costs me a buck or two. I only look at the detail for companies which I am actively managing positions. As I currently have only a small short position in USWeb, I won't pay to see the detail.
