Jeff, I follow so many stocks that I don't keep track of a C to B move for example, rather I prefer a 2 point rating move which may be rating, EPS, volume, etc, etc. A one point could be 98 to 97 for example, but 2 point is more significant, esp when caused by latest earnings release. I do like a stock to be A or B accumulation when I buy and at least a C. Sometimes if a sector has bottomed and looks to be turning I will buy a D or E industrial sector, but for shorter term I prefer a C or higher sector and rating of 6 or higher.
As of last night the stocks in database rated 7 or higher (about 30)were up 85 from 1 Nov and the stocks rated 6 (about 14)were up only 3%. Average of all stocks currently in the database (106) are up 42% from 1 Jan 98 (not that I had them all the time, just what they have done individually on average).
