Do you have Microsoft chat installed on the Win 98? It would be interesting if you deleted it and things got faster. Maybe when you delete it things will still be slow and there goes my theory out the window. Is SI slow for you at this moment? Maybe mine just got fast and will slow down again later. It is fast now.
