Along this line you may enjoy the correlation of the man whose name was Fibonnaci. He 'discovered' the Fibonnaci number series, and the Golden Section. He was bestowed the 'honorable' title "Leonardo de Piso". The correlation is that he simply lifted all his mathematical knowledge from the Egyptians, and presented it as his own.
