To All, 1. I haven't bragged about R&B Falcon for the last couple of days. Wonder why? <G> I think this is another buying opportunity, but it is one volatile son of a gun.

2. DeBeers is getting close to buying range again.

3. As everyone knows, I have held off buying new puts for the duration of the Xmas lies. However, the Intel idiocy and the new issues today make me think that the fools could be seperated from their money sooner than expected. I haven't pulled the trigger, but the "anti-common sense/can't read or add" notes are heating up. I can resist everything except temptation. <G>

4. CDCW down 9 points! Wow! I guess the millions of pcs they are selling must not be the ones with Intel processors. <G>

5. Don't look now, but the banks are starting to suck again, at least short term. I have very low representation in bank puts, so I am hoping the dummies will jump on these terribly undervalued stocks and buy them. <G>

6. Happy Veterinarian's Day. <G> I am a proud vet with 4 years of service, some of it honorable. I hated the Army and it hated me, but I believe in service. Like most soldiers, I was treated like crap and that helped me to really learn how to enjoy my time off. The good news was that I was overpaid for my Russky speaking abilities, so I was able to learn investing while goldbricking my military duties. But, after 4 years of total harassment and threats of being sent to either jail or Vietnam, they had the nerve to tell me when I was separted, "you are eligible to reenlist." <G> On the good side, the GI Bill helped me get through college. It also gave me 5 extra points on the Federal Civel Service Exam. But, alas, like the Y2K problem I scored too high for the technology of the day. I rang up over 100 with those extra points and the computer registed me as scoring 02.5 instead of 102.5. That was straightened out, but it was funny and disconcerting at first. I met a really smart guy who scored a perfect 100 on the exam. When we went for interviews, they took us in order of our scores. He was shocked when they called me first. Especially after talking to me and immediately discerning the shallow depth of my intellect. <G> So, a good holiday and one that should be one of our most important, IMHO.
