Daniel - particularly on a day like today, it is more than just a little irritating to have twits make completely unsubstantiated claims about people in some guise of defending Bill Clinton.

Like so many people who don't know anything about the military, Dipy fails to realize that having reservists and National Guard units allows active forces to be more fully deployed - it isn't always an issue of the "danger" of being activated - there are jobs to do here. A lot of the roles involve doing things that are only done here when active units are engaged elsewhere. As a country, we'd never be able to have a standing active army large enough to do everything.

My father was a Master Sergeant in WWII. Never fired a gun at an enemy. Because he had no risk in actual combat, is his service somehow dishonorable?

Apoplectic, yes. Name calling, yes, when it is so richly deserved.

People who defend Clinton by smearing others with lies deserve to be exposed for what they are.

Mr. K.
