Yes, I agree with the previous post about the bottom of this company. I don't know if any of you remember about 5 years ago CPU was in the 7 dollar range and analysts were coming on saying "I smell bankruptcy here." It went on to go to 80.

However, there are some significant differnces between than and now. Than it was over expansion and cash flow problems. Now its competition and cheap PC's with low margins. However, I still think CPU will to well. The PC's are not large profit items. But the software and periphrials are. And I have no intention of waiting days for ordering software or a sound card when I can get it for a few bucks more down the street.

The great unknown here is Windows 2000. If it requres upgrades like Win 95 did, CPU will do very well. If not,CPU will do just well.

And the guys on the Yahoo thread are indeed a riot.
