For individual programmers - whenever possible give away software, especially if it has system function or office function. Cut the financial foundation away from all of these standard-breaking, user manipulating pigs, at whatever company. Yes, we should all give our works for free. All software companies who want to sell software to make profit should go bankrupt, all SEs should live by donations of those who appreciate their free products and free works.
