Blackwell is broke. He is some PhD geo from New Brunswick. But he is short on mining experience. And he never ran into rock like this. To his credit he finally went underground but it was too little too late. I was telling them to get an oil well rig 6 months before that. If they were to go underground the only way to do it is whole hog. Ramp down to 1000 feet and drift along her for as far as she goes.. pilot milling and crosscutting all the way. That is the way they did it in the 40's and 50's. No point in half measures as you end up as they did with nada and nowhere to jump to. If it were Barrick they would be about 3 months from a positive feasibility by now. It is evident no matter what Cuchie Cuchie says that there is no definitive negative on this one. It had some monster trenches and big big drill holes. It is at least 6 zones. 4 of which have not yet been drilled! It is really criminal. But you cannot fudge data. If you want to open pit it you must know the exact grade and metallurgy down to 1000 feet and at every section every 125 feet along strike. Filling in the blanks with ??? will not do. Kriging can be dangerous. It can produce too little gold and too much. It can be expensive to do feasibilities. But it far nore expensive to f--k around for two years and produce ounces at 10 bucks an ounce. Bad moves here.
