They invented (practically) Microprocessor Software and have been flexible enough to adapt, change, whatever, and stay on top. Their software isn't always the best - but it's generally about as good as you are going to get. And they KEEP IMPROVING IT. They play hard ball - they play to win. That's the only way to play the game and that is why they are on top. They didn't invent everything. Do you think SUN invented networked computing with Unix? What do you think SUN stands for - Stanford University Network - the place where SUN stole their networking and workstation concepts - as well as Berkeley from where Bill Joy brought his copies of BSD UNIX. So, where's your indignation about SUN ? Are they somehow "purer thiefs" than Microsoft? Do you have a free copy of Solaris you can give me? Or is SUN charging everybody for this software instead of giving it away for free? Paul
