Jeffery, I agree with Sal. You should make BB take it back and get a full refund. DELL, GATE, and MUEI are all fine companies with excellent products. I have delt with all three extensively. Personally, I currently consider MUEI (Micron) computers to be the best. My guess is that your experience with the retail channel is not at all unique. And people wonder why retail PC sales are down. Truth be told, the retail channel has inferior products, higher prices/less value, and less support. That is why the shift from the retail channel and PC speciality stores to the direct channel has been so rapid and significant. I have been preaching this shift for more than two years. It is amazing that the pundits are just now starting realize that this shift is occurring and may be part of the explanation for weaker than expected retail sales. Duh! FF FF
