Many years ago when I was involved in the drug culture we laughed at the anti drug messages because we knew that they were dishonest. Young people today aren't stupid education must be honest or it will fail to impress. Having said that your post has caused me to rethink my position.I do believe that education plus condoms are the best solution available but not end of problem. <<Once educated you have removed the adult in charge>> I don't believe that the adult in charge has the position of authority that he/she once did.

<<at one time you had a protective society in place>> This is long gone. We can't turn back the clock. We must live within the real world. Education and condoms can not alter a young persons reverence for the adult in charge it has already been altered forever.Remember thirty years ago "the times they are a changing" Well here we are, they have changed in many more ways than we would ever have thought. In this new world we need education and condoms to deal with the fact that young people are thrust into adulthood perhaps before they are ready and hope for the best.
