I think EAX 2.0 is just the tip of the iceberg. Now SB Live does occlusion and obstruction, what can't it do? Presumably, if Creative set its mind to it, they could do some geometry-based wavetracing of their own, after all nobody owns x,y and z coordinates and some algebra. The programmable nature of EMU10K1 means the SB Live is really LIVE, as opposed to hardwired "dead" chips. This should appeal to obsolescence conscious people. I would plump for SB Live over a hardwired Aureal chip anyday. When MX-300 ships, I bet Creative is going to steamroll them with a barrage of free upgrades through the LiveWare program.
