Is it your belief that essentially "everything" will become more pc-like and networked eventually? TV remotes that access databases, pdas that start dinner cooking...boom boxes, keyboards, phones, cars, lights, heating, all on the network. Ovens that download cooking instructions... I realize in some ways this is already out there. But will the os and networking standards all converge? MSFT??? Personally I dread that thought. Walking up to a microwave with a win2010 interface? Yuck.
